The Wild West Visits Castleblayney Central National School
We were delighted that the Seatbelt Sheriff rode into town today and was able to help our pupils understand the importance of staying safe when they are travelling. Whether that was in the car or bus, on their bikes or scooters or even walking on the roads or around town our pupils know what they need to do to keep themselves and others safe.
Pupils were reminded of the importance of buckling up in a vehicle and sitting in the correct booster seat for someone of their age and height. They were also reminded of the importance of wearing a helmet and high-visibility clothing and lights on their bikes. The Seatbelt Sheriff taught them the three B’s when travelling in a car; Back seat, Booster seat and Buckle Up.
With a big Castleblayney YEEHAW! We want to say thank you to the Seatbelt Sherriff and the team at the Road Safety Authority.
