We were feeling the love on Friday with our Science experiment as part of our Valentine’s Day activities. There was certainly some chemistry when our vinegar met our sodium bicarbonate hearts. Our pupils also enjoyed making some Valentine’s Day cards.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit last week from our local Gardai reminding our pupils about staying safe on the roads and about the impact of cyber bullying. Thank you to the officers for taking time to come and speak to our pupils.
A huge thank you to Roar Roar Dinosaur and to Castleblayney Library, for a fantastic workshop. The pupils enjoyed watching a dinosaur egg hatch, digging for fossils, creating their own fossil and watching volcanos erupting. Our pupils certainly had a roarsome time. A big thank you to Rosita for providing us with dance lessons over the past few weeks. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning how to do lots of different dances including waltzing and jiving. Both pupils and staff have improved their dancing skills and feel fitter after these lessons.

Our pupils and staff took part in an Easter Book Hunt organised by Castleblayney Library across the town.
